DESCRIPTION:Join Sarah Hockensmith of the Tahoe Institute for Natural Science as she brings together birding beginners and enthusiasts alike. This presentation will acquaint you with common and unique birds of Lake Tahoe\, birding destinations in the Tahoe region\, local bird research\, and an introduction to the Tahoe Big Year. This event should be a hoot! \nThis all-ages event is free\, but donations are appreciated (click here to make a donation; the suggested amount is $10 for an individual or $25 for a family). \nSeating is limited\, and standing may be required during the presentation. Our facility has limited parking; please consider carpooling or biking. No dogs\, please. If there is Inclement weather\, LTWC will hold the event inside.
