Due to our location in the Lake Tahoe area, we developed a strategic plan for safely evacuating all animals at LTWC during fire emergencies — the Latrobe Fund has made a generous $20,000 emergency preparedness matching grant available to fund this emergency plan. This grant will allow LTWC to respond to emergencies safely and effectively. We are asking for help from partners like you to help secure these funds by donating today.

Your TAX-DEDUCTIBLE donation will be doubled by this grant from the Latrobe Fund. This means every dollar you give effectively turns into two dollars to LTWC.

She was treated for the skin condition and continues to grow and develop into a feisty, playful cub. | We treated several porcupines from wildfires with tilapia skin on their burns. | Peek-a-boo! Orphaned barn owls require regular hand feeding and training to survive in the wild before release.
